Housing for older people
Some of our housing is designed specifically with
older people in mind.
These schemes are close to shops and facilities, have high
proportions of flats with level access and may have communal
facilities such as laundries and rooms for social activities and
events.
They are also equipped with emergency alarms and, if it is
needed, extra support provided by one of our support workers. They
visit everyone from time to time, and will discuss individual
residents’ needs so that they can arrange to visit more regularly
if required.
