Community Action Grant

Have you ever had an idea to do something fun in your community and been put off by the cost? Redland has come up with a grant scheme which might make you think again.

Residents can apply for a Community Action Grant of between £50 and £1,000 for small or large local initiatives that meet the criteria of the grant.

You could apply as an individual or as a residents' association, as long as your project will benefit Redland's residents. We want to encourage residents to take an active role in their communities, which improves their own quality of life and that of their neighbours around them.

The grant will fund activities that meet one or all of these criteria:

  • Engage all people in the local community.
  • Develop skills and confidence.
  • Promote good relationships between neighbours.
  • Promote community safety.
  • Improve quality of life.
  • Improve health and wellbeing.

All applications will be considered by an approval panel of Redland residents and staff, and they look forward to hearing your ideas.

If you want to know more about the fund, contact Philippa Barton, Tenant Liaison Officer, on 0117 316 7219 or email philippa.barton@redlandha.co.uk.
