What to do if I you have difficulty paying your rent?
If you are finding it difficult to pay your rent,
please contact us as quickly as possible. It is much easier for us
to help you if you let us know before you owe a lot of rent.
Firstly, you may be entitled to Housing Benefit from your local
authority to help with your rent. Whether or not you are entitled
to Housing Benefit will depend on your income, the number of people
living with you, and how much rent you have to pay. If you think
you might be entitled to Housing Benefit, or you can't afford your
rent, ask us or your local authority for details of Housing
Benefit.
