Reporting repairs
If there is a problem, please let us know straight away. During
normal office hours you can ask for repairs to be done by phoning
us or by calling in at our office. You can also write to us to ask
for routine repairs by letter to Holly House, or email:
housing.admin@redlandha.co.uk
If you have an emergency and need repairs outside normal office
hours, phone our emergency repairs service on 01249 444005.
Whenever you report a problem, please give us as much detail as
you can. Please tell us:
- exactly where and what the fault is (use the Repairs Locatory
Handbook to describe the fault accurately);
- when the contractors can get in to repair the fault; and
- where we can contact you during working hours, giving a phone
number if possible.
When you report a problem, we will either immediately make an
appointment for one of our contractors to come out, or tell a
contractor to contact you to arrange an appointment.
If the repair is complicated, we may want to inspect the fault
first before we send out a contractor.
If a contractor calls at an agreed date and time, and there is
no-one in, you may have to pay for the contractor's time. So please
make sure that you keep any appointments.
