Helping people at a critical time in their lives
For 25 years Shape Housing Association has helped
thousands of vulnerable people, from providing stability and a safe
place to live for people facing a bleak and uncertain future, to
support and training which has helped many shape the rest of their
lives.
Founded in 1983, we are a specialist supported housing provider
working in particular with vulnerable young people and homeless
people. Many have complex needs such as mental illness, drug and
alcohol dependency or other challenging needs.

‘This is the first time in our history that
we are asking the public and businesses to support us in this way.
We are restricted from using our funding for some of the extra
support that we give, but this support makes so much difference to
the people we help. It takes them a lot of courage and resolve, and
we want do as much as we can to make that process easier.’
Louise Swain, Managing Director

Shape is supported by Bath-based Olympic gold
medallist Jason Gardener.

feet, and by that I mean living independently.'
Craig's story
Craig moved into Pathways when he was 18.
With their help and support, he has now moved on into a flat of his
