Shape's Board

I am still asked what it is that Shape does. In reply, I say we are small, but we are special. To be a specialist provider of supported housing working, in particular, with vulnerable young people and the homeless is complex, increasingly challenging but is significant.

Typically in a year we will help over 100 single homeless people, approximately 50 single parents and another 50 couples and around 20 homeless families. In addition, the Outreach service will help 50 young people a year and our floating support service another 40.

Our help is more than bricks and mortar, not just a roof over heads. It is the added value that we achieve by working together and supporting our residents that we think makes us special.
