Help us to change lives
For 25 years Shape Housing Association has helped
thousands of vulnerable people at a critical time in their lives.
This ranges from providing stability and a safe place to live for
people facing a bleak and uncertain future, to support and training
which has helped many shape the rest of their lives.

Why support us?
The money we make from rent covers repayments, housing
management and maintenance costs. Housing support for individuals
from 'Supporting People' income is restricted in its usage. As a
result there is no money left over to fund innovative projects that
we develop to help vulnerable people.
Our projects:
- answer a real need; and
- are not available through other means.
Commitment and expertise
So far we've worked with thousands of vulnerable young people in
Bath & North East Somerset and now we are extending our help
into Wiltshire and North Somerset. Some may be disengaged or
demotivated, others may be at risk from anti-social behaviour,
exclusion or unemployment, while many need support as they make the
transition from adolescence to independent adulthood.

This could be someone you know

Jenny (name changed) came to our Shape
Dartmouth project in Bath with her daughter following domestic
violence. She arrived with no money and no items of her own.
Helped by the staff, Jenny began counselling for previous abuse and
her anxiety decreased. She started college, obtained a nursery
place for her daughter and got a job.
Jenny has moved on to a new home and has started a new life.
