How to donate
Right now people like you are helping to fund
projects like these. There are tight controls on how we spend
most of the money we get, so your donations are vital.
All of our projects need your help. We believe they are just as
vital as building homes, and without your donations we just
wouldn't be able to run them as well.
Here are some of the ways you can give:
Cheque donations
If you simply want to give a donation by cheque, make it payable
to 'Shape Housing Association' and send it FREE to:

Payroll giving
With payroll giving you can donate to us through your company,
on a regular basis or as a one-off donation.
Payroll giving saves you money too. For every £5 you donate, only
£3.90 is deducted from your salary.
If you want to set up a regular gift through payroll giving,
this is what you need to do:
- Check with your payroll department to make sure they offer the
scheme.
- Complete a payroll giving form*.
- Submit it to your payroll department.
* You'll need to have your national insurance and
employee/payroll number to hand. Once you've completed the form, it
is a good idea to take a copy for your records.
Payroll giving, or 'Give As You Earn', is a powerful and
effective way of supporting your chosen charities through work. If
your employer has a payroll giving agency set up, all you have to
do is fill out a payroll giving form, and instruct them to direct a
payment of your choice to us.
Payroll giving is tax free and because it's deducted from your
wages, only 79 pence will be deducted from your wages for every
pound that you donate. If you're a higher rate tax payer, then it
will be only 60 pence for every pound.
The table below shows some example figures.

If you ever want to change or stop
your regular gift, you don't need to contact us, just tell your
payroll department at work.

Remember us in your will
Making a will isn't something many of us like to think about.
It's easier to put it off, pretend it isn't necessary or hope that
things will work themselves out. But making a will is important, as
it let's everybody know how you want your possessions to be dealt
with after you've gone.
Without a will, the law decides what happens to your estate. If
you're married, this may mean that everything will pass to your
spouse, but it isn't guaranteed. There is a chance that the entire
estate could pass to the government, as there is no instruction
what to do.
After you have looked after those important to you, leaving
Shape a legacy in your will is a powerful way of helping us help
others and giving one last gift to a cause that you care for.
Your gift doesn't have to be just money. Assets, shares even
personal possessions can be left to us, and they can all be used to
help those in need.
Other Support
If you don’t want to give money but may have suitable goods or
other support that you are willing to donate to the charity, please
contact us. We are extremely grateful to receive gifts in kind but
please ring to check that they are appropriate to our needs.
