Tenant participation

We are committed to involving tenants and service users in the development and monitoring of the services they receive.

Only through their involvement can we provide the kinds of services our tenants and service users require. We encourage and enable tenants and other stakeholders to become effectively engaged and involved and have a demonstrable influence in all areas of housing and community interest.

Shape Housing Association in partnership with its residents and service users has developed a client involvement strategy and action plan. Please click on the link below to view this document.

Bath Foyer brings young people together through football

Shape has been giving its young residents the unique opportunity to represent their Foyer in a friendly 5-a-side tournament with other Foyers in the South West.

The team is open to residents of the Bath Foyer and Pathways projects and any of their friends who wish to play. To date they have played against the University of Bath at the Sport Training Village Astroturf pitch. They have also played teams from Bath Spa University at the Recreation Ground and the leisure centre in town.

The team received funding from Bath & North East Somerset Council through their ‘Get Funded’ scheme, and Bath City Football Club Community Group also sponsored the Bath Foyer kit and coaching courses for the team.

The aims of the project are to promote greater mutual understanding and respect among young people from different backgrounds; a positive life message to other young people and adults living in the city; improved levels of football skills and team work; improved quality of life through keep-fit exercises; and a successful and fun experience for young people.
