Energy Trusts are registered charities that award grants to reduce or clear electricity and/or gas debts to domestic customers of EDF Energy or British Gas.

Energy Trusts have been set up primarily to offer financial assistance to individuals and families who are struggling to pay their electricity and gas bills. The Trusts aim to make a long-term difference to a person’s situation by reducing or paying off arrears enabling them to focus on their ongoing commitments.

The Energy Advice Project is extremely successful, over 90% of all applications have an award made and applications for help with energy arrears have a success rate of over 99%.

If you think any part of your heating system isn’t working correctly, or you are not sure how to use it, then please contact Somer’s repairs line on 01225 366111
