Resident involvement

We will involve you by listening and responding to you as individuals, working alongside you in neighbourhoods, being accountable to you through our formal governance structures. We will continue to develop what we do so we deepen your influence at all levels of the Trust to ensure we deliver what you want, are accountable to you for what we do and give you opportunities to make a difference.

Our commitment:

To encourage and support Resident Involvement:

  • We will tell you how you can get involved in ways that suit you.
  • We will provide every resident representative with a Resident Representative Handbook.
  • We will provide training & support so that you can make the most of your involvement with the Trust.
  • When we ask for your views, we will feed back what you told us and what we are going to do about it within 3 months.
  • We will respect the fact that everyone is unique and wants to get involved in different ways.
  • We will use plain language in lots of different formats.
  • We will listen to your ideas and use them when we can and let other people know you came up with them.
  • We will support new and existing residents groups.
