Recycling
We actively promote recycling to residents and
encourage more recycling through greater provision of
facilities.
We have been working with Bath & North East Somerset Council
to provide mini-recycling centres on estates where there are a high
number of flats. To date 16 have been introduced and the feedback
from residents has been positive.
With B&NES, we are currently introducing cardboard
collection containers as a pilot. In addition we are working with a
graphic artist to provide cartoon-style labels for the recycling
centres that will explain through animation what happens to the
materials when they are recycled and what type of things they are
made into.
