Repairs and servicing
We have a duty as a landlord to keep your home in
good order. As a tenant, you share the responsibility for looking
after your home with us.

find out what is your responsibility to repair, and how we
prioritise your request.
Carrying out repairs
Our employees will carry out most day-to-day repairs. They will
carry identity cards and will normally arrive in one of our vans.
In some areas we run a local neighbourhood repairs scheme. These
teams deal with all repairs in a particular neighbourhood. You may
report repairs directly to these staff.
Sometimes we employ external contractors for specialist work or
to help us during busy periods. These contractors will also carry
identity cards. If you have any questions about the identity of the

Providing access for repair work
You must let our staff into your home to carry out repairs and
safety servicing. Where possible, we will arrange a morning or
afternoon appointment with you, or advise the tradesperson to
contact you to arrange a convenient time.
