Public transport
Train
The main station is Bath Spa on the mainline to London (one and
a half hours) and Bristol (15 minutes), with good connections to
Wales, the West Country and the south coast.
Some local services stop at Oldfield Park, which is a 15 minute
walk away from The Maltings.
Bus
The Maltings is on First bus route number 5, which runs every 10
minutes from the bus station in Bath and takes about 10 minutes.
All of the buses have low floors, accessible for wheelchair users.
Get off the bus at Lansdown View / Jews Lane and walk a short
distance past Bathwick Tyres. Use the pedestrian crossing to cross
the road in front of McDonald’s; The Maltings is approximately 100
metres further, on the right-hand side.
There is no bus service from Bristol which runs along the Lower
Bristol Road. You need to travel to the bus station then catch the
number 5.

There is a taxi rank outside Bath Spa railway station. If you
