New team to lead Somer Housing Group

In January Somer Housing Group’s new Executive team was completed with the arrival of Donna Baddeley and Dominic Lynch who have joined Louise Swain, the first Executive Director to be appointed to the new team last autumn.

The team, who bring over 40 years’ experience in social housing, take on new, outward-looking and strategic roles at Somer – one of the South-West’s largest housing providers. Working with the Chief Executive, Victor da Cunha, the new team will lead the delivery of an ambitious five-year strategy which is being created with residents, colleagues and other customers.

The three new posts comprise a more compact Executive team formed as part of a major change programme that is bringing together the three separate organisations across the Group: Redland Housing, Shape Housing and Somer Community Housing Trust. The changes will create a more efficient business and ensure that Somer can provide more homes and better services for its residents.
