Shape Housing raising funds and awareness
Shape Housing Association, the Group’s specialist
supported housing provider, has a strong tradition of fundraising,
with their latest successful venture - a charity stall at the
opening night of Bath’s famous Christmas Market – bringing in
valuable funds and helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work
supporting vulnerable young people.
Shape provides a range of supported
accommodation to young people and homeless single people and
families in Bath and beyond. Shape colleagues were joined on the
stall by residents from the Pathways supported housing project in
Bath.

“This is the second year that we have had a
stall at the Bath Christmas Market,” said Anita Holden, Service
Manager at Pathways. “With thousands of people visiting the market,
our presence there was a great opportunity for people to find out
about the work Shape does and get a better understanding of the
issues that so many young people face today.”
Shape’s next fundraising initiatives include
the Bath Half Marathon and a special exhibition at the Bath
Guildhall in February which will be showing art-works by Shape
residents. Last year’s Half Marathon team raised over £1000 and
included staff, Shape residents as well as staff from
local solicitors Withy King.
