Procurement
Procurement has been centralised since July 2006 and great
strides have already been made in cross-functional working
throughout the Group. Members have established
strong collaborative working practices that have resulted in the
production of joint specifications for contracts. This has produced
larger volumes, which deliver better pricing and improved service
and quality standards.

Fundraising
Somer Housing Group appointed its first Fundraising Manager in
January 2007. The role has a clear aim – to maximise all existing
sources of voluntary income and develop additional income streams.
Our hope is that we can contribute to projects that arise from
collaboration with tenants to improve and regenerate the areas
where they live.
